GRUFF PUP CREATOR AFFILIATE PRIVACY NOTICE — 2026-11-03-v1 WHO IS RESPONSIBLE. Gruff Products, LLC, doing business as Gruff Pup, operates the creator affiliate program and is responsible for creator program information. Contact emerson@gruffpup.com for privacy, access, correction or deletion requests. The general store privacy policy at https://gruffpup.com/policies/privacy-policy applies to the shopping website; this notice explains the additional creator program. CREATOR ACCOUNT AND SOCIAL DATA. We collect the stage name, legal name, email, account type, country of residence, password verification data (not your plaintext password), submitted Instagram, X, Bluesky and TikTok accounts, and program security/consent events. We may match those accounts to Gruff Pup's existing influencer or lead records, including follower counts, and record a signup-time follower snapshot to determine starter gear. We use your link, coupon, recruiter association, order attribution, commission and referral-bonus history, refunds, adjustments, gear awards and redemption history to operate and audit the program. We do not ask you to report your follower count or automatically scrape new social followers for this award. The registration flow currently defaults an internal work-location category to residence; it does not ask you to confirm the physical countries where services are performed. We may request that information separately before tax or payment clearance. TAX AND PAYMENT DETAILS. When your earnings make private payment setup available, we request the legal payee name, tax form category, signed tax PDF and preferred payment recipient information: for example a PayPal email, Venmo username or Zelle email. Earlier submitted bank or IBAN information may remain in prior records. Signed forms and submitted recipient information are stored in Gruff Pup's private, encrypted, versioned payee-intake records for authorized review, not as a Shopify customer-account field. A new submission does not itself issue a payment. Do not submit tax forms or financial identifiers through a public social post or ordinary promotional email. WHO HANDLES INFORMATION. Authorized Gruff Pup operators use creator accounts, consent, sale, accounting, tax and payment data for program operation and review. Existing internal influencer/leads records may be used to match submitted social accounts. Shopify processes actual storefront checkout, orders, shipping and fulfillment information; that does not mean Shopify stores this creator ledger or private tax PDFs. Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), when enabled, delivers permitted program email, including required account messages and optional consented news. When enabled, owner-facing operational text alerts can include the submitted social accounts, paid-sale summaries with only the buyer's first initial and surname, gear awards and Shopify redemptions. For owner-issued manual PayPal, Venmo or Zelle payments, the owner uses the selected recipient details with that payment service; we do not claim an automatic payout integration or send the signed tax PDF as part of normal transfer initiation. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities when necessary for lawful accounting, tax, legal or security obligations. Providers may process data in other jurisdictions. EMAIL CHOICES. Required account confirmation, tax/payment and gear-redemption messages are separate from optional marketing. Affiliate tips, news and promotions require a separate affirmative marketing opt-in, whether you are in the United States or elsewhere. You can change permitted email choices in your account or unsubscribe from marketing; declining marketing does not prevent registration. An enabled preference switch alone does not count as marketing consent. RETENTION AND YOUR CHOICES. We keep account, consent, agreed-term versions and hashes, attribution, transaction, tax, payout and support records while needed for the affiliate relationship, reconciliation, disputes, security and applicable tax, accounting or legal duties. Some records may need to remain after an account closes or after a correction or deletion request. We do not promise a fixed deletion date, because no uniform retention period is configured for every category. Material changes to this notice will be identified with a new version before enrollment or further collection as appropriate.
